Happy Friday the 13th readers. Seems to be a good day to release info on horror themed games, don’t you think?
Hot off their latest game release, Stern Pinball is not slowing down on product production. Just last month the company began manufacturing Jurassic Park (Pro models; Premium/LE are supposed to be in production right now), and today they confirmed the rumors about a new Elvira pin project with a quick teaser to Facebook and Twitter (sharing Twitter since those embed better as opposed to Facebook videos):

No, it doesn’t tell us much, but with the reveal happening now, I imagine that it will be out in time for Halloween 2019. If not, then it certainly will be out by the end of the year.
Rumors about a 3rd Elvira pin have been out there for two years as this thread on Pinside shows. That thread also is mentioning that it will use a production model similar to Batman ’66 or the Beatles (i.e., a little more limited than your typical release).
The first Elvira pin was released in 1989 under the name Elvira and the Party Monsters; the second was Scared Stiff, one that seems to be more common to find in my experience. Both of those games were designed by Dennis Nordman, and in keeping with that tradition, so is this one. The coding is being done by Lyman Sheats. For the rest, I guess we’ll have to wait until Monday. What are your thoughts on a 3rd Elvira pin?
So until then, here’s my unboxing of Jurassic Park that was posted earlier this week.
