A new limited edition vinyl LP of the music from Stern Pinball’s Black Knight: Sword of Rage is to go on sale to mark this year’s Record Store Day on April 12th.
The music in the game was created by Scott Ian of the band Anthrax and Brendon Small of Metalocalypse and Dethklok. Stern Pinball produced a video of Scott talking about his music when the game was launched in March, 2019.
Produced by Jackpot Records of Portland, Oregon, this special 12-track pressing is made from a purple marbled vinyl and includes special liner notes from Scott Ian. It is limited to 1,200 units and features special artwork derived from the backglass art used for the Limited Edition model of the game.
Jackpot Records is both a publisher and a record store. This new release will be available to purchase from their own store and also from other participating independent record stores. The recommended sale price is $29.99.
If purchasing direct from Jackpot Records, it will only be available to collect in person from their store at 3574 Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard in Portland on April 12th, but any remaining stock will then be able to be purchased on their website from the following day.
